Isle of Wax is back at Nachtasyl. This time we’re happy to be bringing Vancouver’s ‚Underground Popstar‘ Regularfantasy.
Regularfantasy is one of Canada’s most consistent producers and prolific collaborators. As a trailblazer for women and non-binary DJs in the Vancouver dance music scene, Regularfantasy made a name for herself at the dawn of the so-called ‘Canadian Riviera,’ delivering a steady progression of instantly recognizable and lush vocal house productions. Rising from artist-run spaces and events such as Deep Blue, Sunset Terrace and Dyor, the DIY vibe is at the core of Regularfantasy’s sound, while constantly delivering a masterful balance of nostalgia and dance floor romance.
Regularfantasy has been steadily honing her signature sound for the last decade via a handful of self-released cassettes in her early days to more recent releases on Mood Hut, Banoffee Pies, Sisters of Sounds, On Loop, Total Stasis, Soothsayer, Pear, and Specials Worldwide, including three stunning releases on her own label, Plush Management Inc., a collaborative project with co-founder and producer, D.Tiffany.

We are also happy to be bringing back Hamburg-based Laetizia, who has gained a reputation for delivering a unique, hypnotic, and experimental approach to dance music with no shortage of twists and turns and varied tempos, which she showcases on her HALLO: Radio show „Sentimental Drifts“.
As always, Isle of Wax residents Davin Underwood and KVIS will be offering support throughout the night.
