What is the purpose of research? Bringing about ground-breaking findings that will never be applied or communicated outside a specific niche? Surely not. Science communication is thus key to informing both the public and scientists from other fields about one’s work.
The Local Student Board of the University of Hamburg invites you to join the conversation at the second EUGLOH Science Slam. Researchers at different stages of their careers – ranging from undergraduate students to professors – will each have ten minutes to present Global Health topics in a fun, precise and easy-to-understand manner. The audience will then decide on the top three presenters who will each be awarded a small prize.
